Neem oil is also available with various online retailers. However, make sure you are not spending more than its worth. Besides, some of these retailers are notorious for selling fake products at the cost of original ones. Sift through the catalog and find the one for your specific purpose.

Make Your Own Neem Oil Insecticide

Buy a concentrated neem oil bottle from any of the above mentioned sources. Also buy a spray bottle with a cap. In one gallon of warm water, mix 1 to 2 tsp of liquid soap. Stir the solution well. Add 1 ounce of neem oil to the solution and mix it well. Store it in a cool and shady place.
Remember, the solution loses its effectiveness when stored for more than 8 hours. Always mix only as much of solution as you need immediately. Fill the solution in spray bottle and spray it on the roots and leaves. Leaves should be sprayed on both the sides. Spray the soil in adjoining areas to prevent insects from crawling to the roots of your plants.
Neem oil has absolutely no side effects or hazards. It is 100% natural and more effective than the chemical pesticides. It cannot induce any health concern in human beings.
