Just like how washing the car from the outside daily is not enough, and that once in 1-3 months the car needs to be sent for servicing so that the engine and other internal parts get thoroughly cleaned, so also just having a bath daily is not enough for us. We need to have our insides cleaned once in a while as well.
All the metabolic wastes, toxins, etc., from the body need to be flushed out, thereby enabling the different internal organs to function more efficiently. We are all aware of the different possible ways to detoxify our bodies, for example with the help of laxatives, enema, etc. However, have you heard of the sea salt flush technique of body detox?

Sea Salt Flush

Sea salt flush or salt water flush is a method of body detox, which unlike laxatives and enema does not only cleanse the colon, but the entire digestive system. It is thus, the big brother of the other methods.
Moreover, what's even better is that it proves to be less expensive as compared to the other methods. Sea salt flushes are not only recommended for internal cleansing but for alleviating high blood pressure, colds, etc.
After the sea salt flush procedure is carried out, the person experiences better moods, renewed energy, and even improvements in sinus and respiratory functions. Reduction of body odor, clearing of the skin, and freshening of the breath are also some benefits.

Recipe

Sea salt flush is a simple procedure that can be carried out at home only. With the right ingredients, one can tap the benefits of this detoxification method without spending too much money. For this flush, one needs only two basic ingredients: sea salt and water. However, remember it is essential to have sea salt.
Do not replace sea salt in the recipe with regular table salt, because the effect is definitely different. Sea salt is rich in minerals and helps draw out impurities from the digestive tract, while at the same time providing the body with the essential electrolytes.
Uniodized organic sea salt is what is needed in this recipe. Add 2 teaspoons of sea salt into 2 quarts of room temperature water and mix well until the salt dissolves.

Instructions

Although most people carry out the flush procedure early in the morning, those of you who have to get to work, etc., you can carry it out in the evening. This is because after drinking the salt water, you will experience a bowel movement about 30-40 minutes after that.
You do not want to be caught in a fix outside the house! Shake the concoction well and gulp it down in one go. You will feel full halfway, however, don't stop, because once you stop you will taste that saltiness and will feel nauseated.
Once you drink down all the salt water, the first bowel movement will begin in half an hour's time. Within the next one hour one will have several bowel movements. This way the body will get flushed out of harmful toxins.
Carry out this flush procedure for 3-7 days. You will find results a few days after the cleanse is complete. While carrying out the sea salt flush procedure refrain from spicy, fried, or heavy foods for one week. Moreover, refrain from alcohol as well. One important point to keep in mind is that this sea salt flush is not meant for everyone. People with digestive ailments, ulcers, cancer, etc., should not carry out a sea salt flush without first consulting their doctor.
