Rosemary, or Rosmarinus officinalis, is also known as Dew of the Sea in Latin. It has been used since ancient times in Mediterranean regions for seasoning purposes. The leaves and flowers of this herb contain the essential oil that imparts medicinal properties to it.
Its essential oil is clear in color and has water-like viscosity, with a powerful and refreshing aroma. It has a number of health benefits and is well-known for its therapeutic properties. The strong, floral aroma of rosemary oil induces relaxation and acts as a stimulant to the nervous system.

Rosemary oil is a rich source of vitamins, dietary fibers, and various minerals, like calcium, iron, etc. It is known to treat health problems like poor circulation and digestive imbalances. Here are some more health benefits of this herb:


This oil is antifungal and antibacterial. When applied on skin, it rejuvenates it by improving blood circulation and fortifying capillaries present in the skin.
