Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Benefits

Original organic apple cider vinegar has innumerable benefits. It is considered one of the best remedies for many ailments and diseases. Here we'll throw some light on some of its most common benefits.
Many of you are sure to have come across apple cider vinegar in your daily life. Why, you may even have a bottle or two in your own pantry. Apple cider vinegar is believed to have a number of health benefits.
In fact, its health benefits are so well known that Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, is believed to have used it as his sole remedy for almost every problem. But first, let us get one thing straight.
Any apple cider vinegar (ACV) that is completely clear in appearance, without any kind of organic debris in it, is not the original and organic ACV. The pectin and apple residue that remains in the vinegar even after fermenting is called the 'mother' of the vinegar which gives it a brownish appearance.
ACV which contains this 'mother' is the true organic one and helps to fight many disorders, ailments, and diseases. Let us have a look at some of these health benefits. We have divided it into two sections, the internal benefits and the external benefits.

Internal Benefits

Heartburn: It is known to have properties that help to ease the discomfort caused by heartburn or acid reflux. Take a spoonful before every meal to avoid heartburn.
Weight Loss: While there is no conclusive evidence to back it up, many people believe that two to three spoons of ACV, when taken before meals, helps to suppress hunger and thus help in the process of weight loss.
Diarrhea: It contains pectin, which renders fibrous content to the body, which in turn, helps to thicken the stool. Also, the bacteria in the intestines turns the absorbed pectin into a protective layer over the stung lining and thus soothes and helps with the condition of diarrhea. 3 spoons with an 8 ounce glass of water is the ideal dosage.
Reduces Internal Bacterial and Fungal infections: Organic ACV contains many nutrients. One of these is malic acid. This acid helps fight fungal and bacterial infections.
Constipation: Constipation occurs because of the lack of fiber in the daily diet. ACV has pectin, which has a lot of fiber. When consumed (3 spoons + 1 glass of water) together with a proper intake of fruits and vegetables, it can help to get rid of the constipation problem.
Reduces Cholesterol: The pectin is also known to burn a lot of fats in the body and reduce the level of cholesterol in it.

Diabetes: For diabetics, organic ACV helps to keep the blood glucose level in check. Also, the acids present in it help to absorb the nutrients from the food better and hence help to improve digestion.
Strengthening of Bones: It contains minerals like calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, etc., which help in building and maintaining bone health.

Sore Throat: When you gargle with ACV and water, it absorbs the infection and the germs from your throat, much like a sponge. So if you have a sore throat, gargle with it to get rid of the infection.
Colds and Coughs: For coughs, simply splash a few drops of organic ACV on the pillow. For colds, sprinkle some on a brown paper, dust it with a little black pepper and then place it on the chest, cover it with a cloth and simply relax for about 15 minutes.
Hiccups: Sip slowly from a glass filled with water and a spoon of ACV to get rid of hiccups.
Blood Pressure: In order to lower blood pressure, consume 1 tsp of ACV, 1 tsp of honey together with a glass of water. The magnesium helps to relax the walls of the blood vessels and the potassium in the ACV helps to maintain the sodium level in the blood, both of which collectively reduce blood pressure.
Muscle Cramps: Consuming ACV will help to bring about a balance in the level of calcium and magnesium in the blood, which is the reason behind muscle cramps. To avoid regular cramping of muscles, drink a glass of water with 3 spoons of ACV and a spoon of honey.
Insomnia: If you have trouble sleeping, mix a spoon of ACV in a cup of honey. Have a spoon of this mixture before settling down for the night. It will help you sleep well.

Menstrual Problems: To reduce heavy flow during menses, women can drink a glass of ACV tonic.
UTI: ACV helps to create an unfavorable environment for the bacteria that cause urinary tract infection, by maintaining the right pH level. When taken with cranberry juice, it also gives a good flavor and you can benefit from the healthy nutrients in the cranberry juice as well.
Sinusitis: You can make a nasal drip to get rid of excess mucus in the nose and throat by mixing 2 tbsp of ACV in a cup of warm water. Put a little of the solution in your palm, close one nostril and sniff the drip with the other. Repeat with the other nostril as well.
Morning Sickness: If you are pregnant and experience morning sickness, mix a spoon of ACV in a glass of water and have it first thing in the morning.

External Benefits

Acne: Mix 2 spoons of ACV in a glass of water. Soak a piece of cotton in this solution. Dab on your acne with this soaked cotton to get rid of them.
Burns, Insect Bites, and Bruises: For burns and insect bites, you'll have to brace yourself and apply pure organic ACV on the fresh burn to let it absorb the nutrients required to heal it. For bruises, you can add 1 tsp of salt to half a cup of warm ACV and apply on the bruise.
Body Odor: For underarm odor, wiping them with pure ACV once a day works by reducing the odor causing bacteria. For foot odor, soak your feet in a mixture of warm water (1 pan) and ACV (1/3 cup) thrice a week.

Flatulence: Soak foods that cause flatulence in ACV before cooking them to avoid the production of gas in the body.
Dandruff: To treat dandruff, apply pure ACV to the scalp, let it be for half an hour and then wash your hair thoroughly. The bacteria and fungus will be removed and your head won't itch.

Nail Infections: Combine it with cleaning agents like hydrogen peroxide, olive oil, etc., and apply to the affected nail, for many days, to reduce the fungus and infection.
Headaches: It helps to cure headaches by restoring the alkali level in the body. You can either have a tonic or inhale the vapors through a vaporizer to get relief from the headache.

Fatigue: Potassium and enzyme levels are elevated when ACV is consumed. This results in the eradication of fatigue.
Night Sweats: If you experience frequent night sweats, especially during menopause, drink an ACV tonic daily to prevent it.

Sore Muscles: For relief from sore muscles, you can soak a cloth in ACV, dust a little cayenne pepper on it and simply place it on the affected area.
