Natural remedies for scabies are the best treatment one can go for due to the reason that it is highly transmissible. Familiarize yourself about this concept through this story.
Scabies is a highly contagious skin irritation that is caused when an itch mite called Sarcoptes scabiei infests you. This eight-legged mite causes intense itching on the skin, which gets worse with time. In the US, it is often witnessed among the homeless, but reportedly, many patients in hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes tend to catch it.
The most common mode of transmission of this mite is direct skin-to-skin contact. Most of the time, a mere handshake does not transmit it from one infected person to another. Also, sharing clothes, or coming in contact with an infected person by any chance does not lead to the transmission.
However, sexual contact with a person infected with this condition is one of the most common causes. What's more, it is also considered as a sexually transmitted disease or STD.
On the other hand, other kinds of physical intimacy, such as hugging, standing too close, etc., are some of the sufficient causes for the mites to spread. As a result, it is essential to take account of some natural remedies for scabies, being a commonly-spread skin infection that it appears to be.

Home Treatment Methods

First things first, you can apply Azadirachta indica oil, commonly known as neem oil, as the most natural treatment for this skin condition.
The purpose of choosing neem oil is that it not only kills mites that reside on the skin, but also appeases the pain, thereby, reducing the inflammation caused, and curing bacteria infestation. Neem oil is known for its all-inclusive soothing effect on the affected skin.
Amongst the most natural home treatments, is the consumption of bitter gourd juice. Even though it is terribly bitter in taste, it is highly effective for this skin irritation. All you have to do is mix one teaspoon of lime juice in a cup of bitter gourd juice, which will help in making the taste slightly better. Regular consumption in small sips for at least 7 days will help in the prevention and cure of this disorder.
Tea tree oil is considered to be an effective solution. It helps in getting rid of the itchiness on skin, thus, healing the infection by killing both the mites and their eggs within the skin. It is recommended to bathe in water that is mixed with tea tree oil. However, it may take some time to cure, as this technique may have different effects on different persons. Nevertheless, its powerful healing properties make it one of the best cures in the utmost natural way.

Others

There are some more ways of treating this condition naturally. Relief can be obtained by bathing in water mixed with oatmeal. Also, aloe vera should be applied on the affected area. Another prominent solution is onion. Applying onion with dissolved sea salt should be applied to the affected areas.
Lastly, to stop the disease from spreading, prevention is required. Changing and washing bed sheets on a regular basis, and disinfecting bathrooms and floors routinely can prevent these mites to spread across the house. Lastly, fingernails should be cut and cleaned, as these mites and their eggs tend to refuge in them.
Prevention is better than cure. This saying has, and will always hold true for all skin and health problems. Hence, even though there are enough treatment methods, prevention and abstinence are the best way to stay healthy. A natural cure may take awhile to show its effect, but natural treatments are considered as a foolproof solution to all health problems associated with scabies.
