One does not feel hungry even 8 hours after the last meal due to this condition. You cannot force yourself to eat if you are facing this problem as you already feel very full. As a result of this, one is deprived of the daily intake of nutrients. 
So, a bloated stomach not only makes you feel uncomfortable, it also prevents you from consuming the required daily nutrients. Before moving to the remedies, let us see the probable causes of bloating, as many times the prevention of the cause itself works as an effective treatment.

As stated earlier, excessive gas can cause bloating. So, the first remedy to get rid of bloating is to get rid of gas. Ginger root tea is said to be very effective in treating gas.
A mixture of lime water and honey can also work as an effective stomach gas remedy. Also, avoid gas-forming food stuffs, like cabbage, broccoli, milk and milk products, whole wheat, etc. Many over-the-counter medicines provide relief from gas instantly.

➜ Herbal Tea

Herbal tea is known to cure many ailments, and it is also an answer to your bloating problem. Fennel tea is said to be the best when it comes to a bloated stomach cure.
The other varieties of herbal tea that can be consumed are chamomile, ginger, and peppermint. Drink any of these varieties twice a day.

➜ Celery Seeds

Celery seeds can help get rid of the gas and thereby the problem of a bloated stomach. Place a pinch or so of the seeds in your mouth and chew them thoroughly. Do not swallow them directly, chew them first, and only then swallow.

➜ Treat Constipation

As we now know, constipation and bloating are interrelated so treating constipation will automatically cure bloating. Drinking a lot of fluids, taking laxatives, chewing food properly, having proper meals, etc., are some ways to treat constipation. Over-the-counter medicines are very effective; however, it is better to consult a doctor before taking them.

Bad eating habits can also lead to stomach bloating. So, it is extremely necessary to follow the right eating habits. It includes eating slowly, chewing well, etc. These days due to hectic schedule everyone avoids spending time on eating; however, eating fast makes one swallow extra air that leads to bloating.
When one chews food and then swallows it, it gets mixed well with the saliva. This then starts the breakdown of food even before it reaches the gut, thus, helping in digestion.

Simple and easy exercises like taking a stroll after having food or doing yoga can help you get rid of a bloated stomach. Even kneeling on the knees can help but just make it a routine. Massaging the stomach gently and regularly also helps.
