Some people do also undertake longer fasts, but that should be done only under medical supervision. After the fast, you should make sure you eat fresh, healthy, and nutritious food. There are some who recommend consumption of organic food, as it is free of harmful pesticides, insecticides, growth hormones, sulfates, and preservatives.
When you are in the process of cleansing your body, the most important part is the colon. If the colon is clean, majority of the body is clean as well. Make sure you make vegetables and fruits a major part of your diet.
