"Staphylococcus Aureus" - that's the name of the bacteria which is the main culprit behind boils on inner thigh. Excess heat in the body, caused by eating the wrong kind of foods, a poor immunity, health conditions such as diabetes, leading a sedentary lifestyle, chemicals in soaps and skin creams, all these can further aggravate this skin condition.
Most of the time, boils are pretty much harmless, yet, they can cause great discomfort and pain to the one who is experiencing them, especially if they occur on the inner thigh. A person might find it extremely difficult to walk without pain, when his thighs rub against one another, pressing these pus filled boils.
Although there are medical treatments available for curing them, yet, with a bit of precaution and some useful home remedies, boils on inner thigh can be cured effectively.

Hygiene

The first thing that you should do for recurrent boils on the inner thigh is to keep the skin area clean. Take bath every day. Wash your inner thighs with a mild soap, twice a day. If you undertake any physical activity, make sure to clean the skin immediately after that so that the thighs remain sweat free. This will prevent germs and bacteria to build up on your skin, which can otherwise cause boils and other skin problems.

Balanced Diet

Taking a balanced diet is a must. It is said that the condition of our skin shows the kind of food that we eat. If you take fried, oily and high sugar foods, it can lead to many skin problems and boils are one of them. So, if you have a tendency to get boils on your inner thighs, stay away from such foods and instead, start taking healthy foods in your diet, such as fresh fruits, fruit juices, green vegetables, sprouts, low-fat dairy products, whole grains and lean meats.

Water

All the organs of the body need water to function well, especially our skin. Drink lots of water to keep the body and skin hydrated. Water aids in flushing the toxins from the body, thus preventing all kinds of skin breakouts, including boils on inner thigh.

Warm Compresses

Take a clean cloth and soak it in hot water. Wriggle the water out and apply the cloth on the boil. Press softly a number of times on the skin around the boil. Follow this home remedy a few times in a day and soon, you will find it easier to take out the pus from the boil.

Oil

One of the most effective home remedies is to make a mixture with equal quantities of neem oil, castor oil and tea tree oil and apply it on the boil, thrice a day. This mixture will dry out the boil and will help in draining out pus from it. This will quicken the healing of the skin affected by the boil.
Turmeric
Turmeric is known to possess anti-inflammatory properties and thus, if taken in diet or applied on the boil directly, can bring down the pain and inflammation. So, you can make a paste of vinegar, turmeric and curd and apply it on the affected skin. Leave it on for fifteen minutes, so that it can work on the skin and then wash off with cold water. Besides this, add a pinch of turmeric to your vegetables or meats while cooking, it will not only heal your skin, but also add a distinctive color and taste to the dishes.

Cornmeal

Cornmeal can absorb the pus from the boils, so prepare a paste of cornmeal with lukewarm water and apply it on the boil. Wrap the skin area with a cloth. Do this five to six times in a day, till you are able to easily drain out the pus from the boil.

Onion Juice

Onion Juice fastens the healing process of the skin. So, extract juice of an onion and with a cotton pad, apply it on the boil. Leave on for fifteen minutes and then wash off with cold water. It will lessen the inflammation and relief you from the pain caused by the boil.

Herbal Tea

Herbal teas such as those made from burdock, can actually strengthen the immune system of a person. So, take these teas when you have boils, as they will make the immune system strong enough to fight the bacteria responsible for causing the boils.
With the help of the above home remedies you should be able to get rid of this discomforting condition. However, if the boils occur again and again and you find blood oozing out of them, there is a possibility of a deep tissue infection and the boils developing into an abscess. In such a case, getting it thoroughly examined by a doctor is recommended.
