Generally, there's always a degree of hesitation to associate tasty with healthy; but, thankfully, there's no such hassle with marjoram tea. This is where you'll get to know about the therapeutic effects of this aromatic tea. Start sipping!
The Marjoram (Origanum majorana) plant is native to the Mediterranean region. An aromatic herb, it symbolized happiness for the ancient Romans. While its culinary uses are many, thanks to its soothingly aromatic properties, marjoram tea is widely appreciated due to the medicinal benefits it offers.
In some regions, it is often confused with oregano, owing to the similarity in the aroma. Marjoram leaves are quite small and roundish to look at. As the plant is primarily grown for its aromatic leaves, one needs to start snipping it from the top as it begins to flower, and not expose it to the harsh rays of the sun.
