Before beginning with the recipes, I must tell you that you must use a scrub only after you have soaked your feet in some lukewarm water for a minimum of 15 minutes. This is because it softens the hardened dead cells that form a thick layer at the heels.
You can also make rather soothing foot soaks at home by either adding 2 cupfuls of black coffee or a single cup of honey in a gallon of water. After soaking them into this foot soak, scrub your feet with these recipes.
Sugar Foot Scrub
White sugar, ¼ cup
Sweet almond oil, ¼ cup
Cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon (ground)
Orange essential oil, 6 drops
Ginger essential oil, 1 drop
Procedure Blend the almond oil and sugar together and then add the essential oils to it. See to it that the grainy texture of the sugar is retained. Stir in the cayenne pepper and then use it luxuriously to treat your feet to a great scrub. Sea Salt Foot Scrub

Epsom or sea salt, 1 cup
Cornmeal, ¼ cup (uncooked)
Baby oil, ¼ cup
Procedure Mix all three ingredients in a bowl and stir gradually. Once you get the desired pasty consistency, use the scrub to exfoliate your callused feet.
Peppermint Foot Scrub
Granulated sugar, 1 cup
Olive Oil, ¼ cup
Peppermint essential oil, 3 drops
Procedure Again, blend together the sugar and oil until you have a nice pasty, but grainy, consistency. Then, add the peppermint oil and you scrub is ready.
Dry Beach Sand Foot Scrub
Dry beach sand, 2 tbsp
Canola oil, 2 tbsp.
Rosemary or suntan oil, 5 drops
Procedure All you then need to do is scrub your hardened heels with the mixture of all these ingredients mildly, wash it off with lukewarm water, and pat dry.
Aloe Vera-Oatmeal Foot Scrub
Oatmeal, ¼ cup (uncooked and finely ground)
Sea salt, ¼ cup
Cornmeal, ¼ cup (uncooked)
Foot lotion, ¼ cup
Aloe vera gel, 2 tbsp.
Procedure Just mix everything together to make a nice paste. Gently massage it on your feet as you scrub, and then rinse with lukewarm water.
For the foot lotion, you can blend a banana and lemon juice along with some honey in a mixer. This will give you an amazingly nourishing ointment that will love your feet.
