Tea Recipe

Making this tea is extremely easy, since there are hardly any ingredients required. Moreover, the ingredients needed to make the tea can be easily procured from grocery stores.
Ingredients
  • 50g dried chrysanthemum flowers
  • 500 ml water
  • 1-3 tablespoon honey, artificial sweetener or sugar

Directions
  • Pour water, the flowers, and honey in a pot.
  • Bring the water to boil and bring it down to half the quantity.
  • Remove from heat, strain the mixture into a cup and drink at room temperature.
You can also add a dash of ginger root to the tea, while brewing it to suit your taste.
A few people can have adverse reaction to chrysanthemum flowers, such as skin irritation, rash or a moderate stomach upset. Strictly avoid having this tea during pregnancy, as most herbal teas are prohibited for pregnant ladies. Even if you want to consume this tea, consult your doctor and then have it.
